Infectious Enthusiasm...

Throughout the campaign, there have been numerous stories and individual encounters that have made a particularly powerful impact on me. The final story I would like to highlight is that of Mike and Zeny Trainor. Mike, through his tireless efforts in his church community, was able to raise a combined total of over $850. To achieve this surprising amount, Mike was unrelenting in his desire to share our story with everyone he knew, and his infectious enthusiasm was evident every time he relayed the message. As long as there are people like Mike in the world, the torch will continue to burn within those that have the power to produce positive change in the world, especially for places that need it the most, but, inversely, bear the least affect on our lives here in Canada.
