As this journey is coming to an end, a special thanks needs to be extended to Golder Associates, a geotechnical engineering firm that, through the combined efforts of both a number of Canadian offices and individual contributors, was able to raise a total of $7400. Golder has proven itself a bastion of corporate generosity, and the support we have garnered from their involvement in the campaign has propelled this project to the level of success it currently enjoys. Special thanks to the Burnaby, Abbotsford, Kelowna, MIssissauga and Kanata offices for their collaborative efforts to get the message we have projected to as many as they could within the Golder family. When a company like Golder chooses to embrace a movement such as ours, it adds a sense of legitimacy to the notion that real change is happening in the world, beginning small but growing, as in this example, into something much larger and more powerful.
